Steve Genschaw and Stephanie Couture - both from Alpena - bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their new roles.
Steve Genschaw recently retired from Alpena Public Schools after more than 30 years of service. He currently works as an Admissions Representative for Northwoods University at Alpena Community College. Steve and his wife Ann have 2 children - Taylor and Kiersten.
Stephanie Couture has been an active school volunteer for Besser Elementary (former PAC President) and at Alpena High School, where she was active with Kids and Parents United Together (KAPUT) for 8 years. Stephanie is a dental hygienist. She and her husband Tim have 3 children - Sadie, Caden, and Mia.
"We are thrilled to welcome Steve and Stephanie to our Board of Education," said Justin Gluesing, AMA ESD Superintendent. "Their passion for education will strengthen our ability to provide exceptional educational opportunities for our students and quality services to our local districts."
