At the June 12 regular meeting, the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District (AMA ESD) honored Lee Fitzpatrick and Naomi Deo for their dedicated service on the AMA Board of Education.
Lee Fitzpatrick has served on the board for six years, including a period as Board President. Lee's steadfast commitment, leadership, and advocacy profoundly benefited the communities across the AMA ESD region.
Naomi Deo has tirelessly served for 18 years, demonstrating unwavering dedication and passion for the students and communities she represented. Naomi’s advocacy for education, particularly her focus on supporting students with disabilities, has had a lasting positive impact.
Richard Gillies served on the board for six years and was a dedicated advocate for students and families throughout the AMA region. His thoughtful leadership and steady presence helped guide the AMA ESD through several important initiatives.
