Region II Superintendents Gather with Glen Maleyko

Region II superintendents met recently with Dr. Glenn Maleyko, Michigan’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, to discuss statewide priorities and the evolving landscape of public education.

The session provided an opportunity for local education leaders to engage directly with the Michigan Department of Education on key issues impacting students and school systems across Northeast Michigan. Topics included state budget projections, accountability measures, literacy initiatives, educator workforce development, and the continued integration of technology to support teaching and learning.
